Why test your speakers

New headphones, desk monitors, and home theater setups sometimes have reversed channels, bad cables, or OS balance issues. A quick left/right check prevents mixing mistakes and catches hardware faults early.

How to run the test

Click Test Left — sound should come from the left side only. Repeat for Right. Test Stereo sends equal signal to both channels. Use Stop between tests in quiet environments.

Troubleshooting

If channels seem wrong, check physical wiring, Bluetooth mono mode, and operating system balance sliders. Try our 1000 Hz tone for a brighter reference or Stereo Test for a focused L/R walkthrough.
